About
My name is Tim Peterson
I grew up in Utah. I'm a husband and father who enjoys spending time with my family. I'm a mindset and personal development coach. I learned the importance of personal development and the impact of a growth mindset over the years, and have seen it have a fantastic effect on my life and those around me. I truly desire to have a positive impact on the world and believe that helping others become more aware of the power of their mindset, and the impact it has on personal development and happiness will change lives for the better.

What is Mindset & Personal Development Coaching?
​A mindset and personal development coach is a professional who helps individuals identify limiting beliefs, shift their mindset, and develop the habits and skills needed to reach personal or professional goals. Coaches focus on the present and future—guiding individuals to gain clarity, build confidence, set actionable goals, and stay accountable for their growth.

While both coaches and therapists support personal development, they are not the same. Therapists and counselors are licensed mental health professionals who are trained to diagnose and treat psychological disorders and often focus on healing from past trauma.
Coaching, on the other hand, does not involve diagnosing or treating mental health issues and is more forward-focused, solution-oriented, and centered around empowerment and performance.

​What Can I Expect From Coaching?
​
The coaching program with NXT Level Mindset typically includes weekly sessions over an agreed upon period of time, depending on the program selected. Each session focuses on a specific theme—such as overcoming self-doubt, building confidence, goal setting, creating healthy habits, etc.—paired with practical exercises, reflection prompts, and action steps tailored to your goals. Between sessions, you'll receive personalized support through email check-ins, guided resources, and optional accountability challenges to reinforce growth. The schedule is designed to build momentum, provide structure, and ensure steady progress every step of the way.

Discovery Call
A coaching discovery call is a free, no-obligation session (usually 20–30 minutes) where we connect to explore if working together is a good fit. It’s a chance for me to learn about your goals, challenges, and current mindset—and for you to ask questions and get a feel for my coaching style.
During the call, I will:
